New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones returned to practice on Wednesday, but Eli Manning is still “likely” to get the start on Sunday, according to beat writer Ralph Vacchiano.
Jones suffered a high ankle sprain in Week 13 that sidelined him for Week 14 Monday Night Football. He was listed as limited on Wednesday’s participation report, and while he looked good in his return to practice, Vacchiano is hearing the team will be cautious with him.
Fantasy football analysis: Giants QB Eli Manning
Manning had a great first half in Week 14 before going silent in the second half. Wide receiver Darius Slayton was the big beneficiary, but there is no guarantee of who Manning will target in his second game back.
Facing the Dolphins does boost fantasy prospects across the board, but it’s hard to trust most anybody in this offense. Saquon Barkley is a solid volume play and Evan Engram might be back as well, but among the wide receivers, it’s a bit of a roll of the dice. Slayton makes the most sense, but moderate your expectations.
