How to handle the Jets D/ST in Week 15 on TNF

Are we really going to consider New York’s D/ST on Thursday Night Football at Baltimore? We break down whether you should do something crazy or not.

Before I tell you to bench the New York Jets D/ST in Week 15 on Thursday night, I’ll share a quick story. I once went to a friends families house after Thanksgiving dinner to watch Jets-Bengals (this was probably back in 2011, when I was a young lad in college). My friend and his pops are big Jets fans. They’re also Irish. So as is tradition on any holiday, well, yeah they drank a decent amount.

To cut to the chase, my friends Dad at one point after a TD started flying around the basement like an actual Jet. This man is a legend and is one of the many reasons why I respect Jets fans and what they’ve been through — and what they’re about to go through on Thursday vs. the Baltimore Ravens.

Fantasy Football Analysis: Jets Defense/Special Teams

It’s Week 15 and it’s likely the first or second round of your fantasy football playoffs. I don’t care what situation you’re in, you aren’t playing the Jets D/ST, especially on Thursday night. They’re on the road vs. the Ravens, who are one of the top offenses in the NFL. Baltimore scores 28.1 points per game at home this season. Lamar Jackson is banged up and it won’t matter because he’s Lamar Jackson and this is the Jets.

Jamal Adams is New York’s best defensive player and he’s out. I just can’t with any sanity recommend you roll out the Jets D/ST the rest of the season. Find another D/ST, I’m sure there’s a better option on the waiver wire.
