Jets TE Ryan Griffin ruled out for Week 15 TNF, Le’Veon Bell off the injury report

The Jets welcome back their star running back in Week 15, but will be short-handed at tight end. We break down the fantasy football implications.

The New York Jets have ruled out tight end Ryan Griffin for Thursday Night Football, but have removed running back Le’Veon Bell from the Week 15 injury list entirely.

Griffin suffered an ankle injury in the first quarter of the Week 14 and was unable to return. He was unable to practice at all this week, and his status moving forward from Week 15 is uncertain.

Bell missed Sunday’s game with an illness, but has cleared through it completely. He was listed as a full participant all three days, which I suppose is not surprising coming off a 251 bowling score over the weekend!

Fantasy football analysis: Jets TE Ryan Griffin, RB Le’Veon Bell

Daniel Brown will start in place of Griffin. Considering the Ravens are the top-ranked defense against tight ends, there’s no reason to start Brown.

The Ravens rank eighth against fantasy running backs, but Bell is still worth slotting into your lineup. He’s going to be a volume play, and makes sense in both standard and PPR formats.
