The resurging Eli Manning era might just prove to be short-lived. Rookie quarterback Daniel Jones sat out Week 14 due to an ankle sprain, but he appears to be making solid progress back in Week 15. He was on the field Wednesday for the open portion of practice and was not showing significant effects from what had been described as a high ankle sprain.

Earlier this week, NFL Network media reported Jones could miss two to four weeks with the injury. Head coach Pat Shurmur refuted that report and left the door open to Jones returning for Week 15 against the Miami Dolphins.
Manning started for the Giants in Week 14 and had a strong first half, throwing for 179 yards and two touchdowns. The offense went south in the second half and he only managed an additional 24 yards in a 23-17 overtime loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
Fantasy football analysis: Giants QBs Daniel Jones, Eli Manning
The Dolphins are generally a juicy matchup for your fantasy football options, but neither quarterback would be worth a start in this one. Darius Slayton, Golden Tate, Sterling Shepard, and Saquon Barkley are worth a look, but even those guys are not must-starts. Slayton and Barkley make the most sense, but it depends on what else you can potentially roll out this weekend.
