Kyler Murray expected to start in Week 13

Cardinals QB Kyler Murray was a late addition to the injury report, but appears set to play in Week 13.

The Arizona Cardinals added Kyler Murray to their Week 13 injury report on Friday, but it appears he should be fine on Sunday, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Murray was added with a hamstring injury. He was listed as a “full” participant on Friday, and then listed as questionable with the injury. There’s no word on what specifically led to the decision, but Schefter’s report indicates it won’t be an issue for the game.

Fantasy football analysis: Cardinals QB Kyler Murray

Murray has rather quietly put together the sixth best fantasy season for quarterbacks. His roughest stretch saw him put up a combined 17 points in Weeks 7 and 8 at the Giants and Saints, but otherwise he has developed an impressive floor. Outside of those two games, his worst fantasy performances this season were 16 points in Week 2 against the Ravens and Week 4 against the Seahawks.

Murray’s legs have turned him into a consistent fantasy performer, and one worth starting most weeks. He faces a Rams defense that had looked solid prior to getting destroyed by Lamar Jackson last week. Murray is not on Jackson’s level, but his ability to run could prove problematic for the Rams. He is worth starting this week.
