UPDATE: Zach Ertz is ACTIVE
The Philadelphia Eagles face a must-win game in South Florida when they travel to face the Miami Dolphins in Week 13. They are hoping to have tight end Zach Ertz available, and it “looks like it’s going to happen,” according to Ian Rapoport. Ertz did not practice on Wednesday or Thursday and was listed as limited on Friday before showing up on the final injury report as questionable.
Ertz suffered a hamstring injury that has been a bit difficult to pin down. There is some thought the injury happened a couple weeks back, but either way, his status is in question for the time being.
Fantasy football analysis: Eagles TEs Zach Ertz, Dallas Goedert
Dallas Goedert is a great start if Ertz can’t play, but he’s also worth starting in a lot of leagues if Ertz does play. Even with a completely healthy Ertz, Goedert would have value against a bad Dolphins defense. With Ertz potentially playing at less than 100 percent, his value increases. Goedert isn’t a must-start by any stretch, but he’s worth a look given how little depth their is at the tight end position.
