George Kittle, Robbie Gould listed as doubtful for Week 10 Monday Night Football

49ers TE George Kittle and K Robbie Gould are both unlikely to play in Week 10. We break down the fantasy football implications.

The San Francisco 49ers are likely to be without tight end George Kittle and kicker Robbie Gould in Week 10 when they face the Seattle Seahawks on Monday Night Football. The team released their final injury report, and both are listed as doubtful. Both missed all three practices this week, and the doubtful designation means they have a 25 percent or less chance of playing on Monday.

Ross Dwelley would get the start in place of Kittle, with Levine Toilolo getting snaps as well. The 49ers signed Chase McLaughlin earlier this week, and he would start in place of Gould.

Fantasy football analysis: 49ers TE George Kittle, K Robbie Gould

This would mark Kittle’s first missed game since his rookie season in 2017. He’s been one of the best tight ends in the NFL, both as a receiver and a blocker. Dwelley can make plays, but is clearly a huge step down. He’s got modest upside in this offense, but is not really a TE1 option.

Gould has had a shaky year and has lost value as the season has moved on. He was still worth starting as the 49ers offense has improved, but it’s not a big absence with him sidelined. McLaughlin played in four games for the Los Angeles Chargers earlier this year and converted six of nine field goals. If you were planning on starting Gould, McLaughlin is a solid replacement.
