Top daily fantasy football quarterback plays over $6,000 in Week 10

Lamar Jackson has some red flags, but a phenomenal matchup, while Drew Brees gets a home game, which is all he ever needs

In NFL DFS, if you’re going to spend up, you must be sure you’ll be getting bang for your buck. For example, a player worth $6,000 who scores 24 points has quadrupled, or 4Xed, their salary, which can send you zooming up the standings. Those are the guys we want throughout the lineup. Here are our best quarterback plays with salaries over $6,000 for Week 10 at DraftKings.

Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens at Cincinnati Bengals ($7,300)

We wouldn’t be doing our jobs if we didn’t point out the obvious red flags here. Jackson was kept out of practice for most of the week with an illness of some sort (he practiced fully on Friday), and if ever there was a team poised for a huge letdown, it’s Baltimore facing a terrible Cincinnati team coming off the Ravens’ biggest win since the Super Bowl six years ago. That all said, the Bengals cannot stop the run at all, and Jackson proved that in Week 6 by rushing for an obscene 152 yards on 19 carries against them. Jackson had 33 DK points that day, and if the Ravens are properly focused, he could easily do it again.

Drew Brees, New Orleans Saints vs. Atlanta Falcons ($6,700)

Drew Brees at home against a terrible Atlanta secondary? Oh my. Brees’ home-road splits are among the most dramatic in football – they don’t call the Superdome the Coors Field of football for nothing. Alvin Kamara is back, but that doesn’t really hurt Brees’ chances of putting up a huge day. If anything, it’s just another receiving target to exploit. In both of his home starts this season, Brees has attempted 43 passes and thrown for 370 yards. He’s a can’t-miss play.

Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals at Tampa Bay Buccaneers ($6,500)

After a pair of sub-par games in Weeks 7 and 8, Murray was back to his elite production levels last week against the 49ers, of all teams, completing 17 of 24 passes for 241 yards and two touchdowns, while rushing for 34 yards. Now he draws a Buccaneers defense that dominates the running game but gets roasted through the air. The Cardinals running attack remains battered and bruised, so expect Murray to exploit the porous Tampa secondary and put up another big game in a highly-successful rookie campaign.
