Top daily fantasy football running back plays over $6,000 in Week 10

If you’re looking to spend on running back, these are the players to do that on.

If you really wanted to you could make an entire DraftKings daily fantasy lineup of just cheap sleepers and keep thousands of dollars in your budget, but why would you? You gotta spend the big money somewhere, so why not at running back? After all, these are the men who can get you the truly big performances with their work in both the ground and air attacks.

So, if you’re looking to spend, here are three running backs over $6,000 who are worth coughing up a large portion of your budget for.

Christian McCaffrey (@ Packers) - $10,500

The most expensive name in daily fantasy this week but he’s well worth it, not only just because he’s Christian McCaffrey, averaging 32.7 fantasy points per week, but also because he has a stellar matchup. The Packers have given up the third most yards and second most rushing touchdowns plus the eighth most receptions to running backs this season. Said another way, every way McCaffrey can torch the Packers defense, they are really bad at stopping that. I would be shocked if he finished with under 30 points this week.

Aaron Jones (vs Panthers) - $7,400

You want to know which team is giving up the first most touchdowns to running backs? It’s the Panthers. There’s some risk in playing Jones as he either hits home runs—scoring 25 plus points three times this season—or he strikes out—as seen by his three games with single digit outputs. I have confidence in him Sunday to be able to take advantage of a very desirable matchup and help get the Packers offense back on track after their terrible showing against the Chargers last week.

Marlon Mack (vs Dolphins) - $7,000

Mack has had a rather up or down season so far, scoring double digit points every other game. Lucky for you, that trend is on the upswing just in time for Mack to face off against the Dolphins run defense which is giving up the most rushing yards and fourth most fantasy points to the position. Plus, the game script will work in Mack’s favor as the Colts will likely get up early and then just focus on running the ball to drain the clock. Everything will turn up Mack come Sunday.
