Jacoby Brissett status update

Frank Reich said that Brissett will be a game-time decision for Week 10.

The Indianapolis Colts appear to be on track to have quarterback Jacoby Brissett starting in Week 10 against the Miami Dolphins. Brissett sprained his knee in the team’s Week 9 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, but he has gotten in three straight days of practice. He has been limited in all three sessions, so will likely be listed as questionable, but for the time being, it is encouraging for his chances to play on Sunday.

Fantasy football analysis: Colts QBs Jacoby Brissett, Brian Hoyer

If you picked up Hoyer as a short-term option, I would not release him quite yet. Three straight limited practices is notable, but does not guarantee Brissett will play in Week 10. Frank Reich might offer some clarification, but this could come down to a Sunday game-time decision.

This is a strong matchup for whomever ends up starting on Sunday. The Dolphins are a disaster and even Hoyer could put up some solid numbers in a spot start. If you were relying on the Colts QB this weekend, the one who gets the start maintains solid value.
