UPDATE: ESPN’s Ben Baby is reporting Green is out indefinitely at this point.

The Cincinnati Bengals will be without wide receiver A.J. Green when they face the Baltimore Ravens this weekend, according to beat writer Tyler Dragon. Green is rehabbing torn ligaments in his ankle and after seeming ready to return in Week 10 had a bit of a setback.

Head coach Zac Taylor said earlier in the week that he thought Green would play in Week 10. However, after a walkthrough, Green wasn’t feeling right and ended up sitting out Wednesday practice. Green told the media he had swelling in his ankle, and would not be comfortable playing without a full practice under his belt, according to beat writer Ben Baby.

Fantasy football analysis: Bengals WR A.J. Green

Green was aiming for a Week 10 return, but now we are left with an uncertain timeline. That bodes well for Tyler Boyd, Auden Tate, and Alex Erickson, with the latter two seemingly benefiting the most in Green’s absence.

If you have Green, the frustration is there. Ideally he returns next week, but we likely won’t know again until later next week after a couple practices. We’re fast approaching the point where it might be time to drop him, but if you’ve held on this long, you might as well wait a little longer.
