The San Francisco 49ers returned to practice on Tuesday after a few days off following Week 9 Thursday Night Football, and they have a notable question mark. Tight end George Kittle did not take part in practice, according to Matt Maiocco, likely due to the knee injury he suffered against Arizona.
The 49ers face the Seattle Seahawks on Monday Night Football in Week 10, which means their first formal practice is not until Thursday. They did not need to specify why Kittle did not practice Thursday, but given how he looked on Thursday, it is probably the knee. Kittle took a Chandler Jones helmet to his knee and while he finished the game, he was clearly slowed by it.
Fantasy football implications: 49ers TE George Kittle
Kittle has a few days of practice ahead of him, but we could very well see him limited or a DNP when the Thursday report arrives. If he sits out Thursday practice, we might be looking at a questionable tag in what is a favorable matchup against a shaky Seahawks defense. We’ll have more on it when Thursday’s injury report arrives.
