NFC West odds could shake up with 49ers-Seahawks Week 10 matchup

We break down divisional odds for all eight NFL divisions heading into Week 10.

The NFL heads into Week 10, and we have a ways to go before the 2020 playoff pictures clears up. We have some teams that are strong bets to win their division, but they were unable to put sufficient distance between themselves and second place to offer any clarity. For example, the Patriots are a strong bet to win the AFC East, but their loss to Baltimore leaves the door open for the Bills to cut the division lead to one game this week during the Patriots bye.

Below are updated odds from DraftKings Sportsbook for each team to win their respective division. The Patriots only have a game and a half lead on the Bills but are heavy favorites. The Saints are next nearly tripling up the Panthers.

Week 10 brings three sizable divisional matchups. Two could serve as quasi-elimination games, and one is a battle at the top. The Raiders host the Chargers on Thursday Night Football, with the two teams sitting in a near tie for second behind the Chiefs. Kansas City gets Patrick Mahomes back soon, so this is more of a wild card elimination game. But, if Mahomes is not at 100 percent when he returns, maybe it opens the door.

The Bears host the Lions to open Week 10 Sunday, with both teams at the bottom of the NFC North. The Packers and Vikings look like the teams that will compete for the divisional crown, but the Bears and Lions will look to at least remain alive in the wild card race with a win.

We close out Week 10 with a huge Monday Night Football contest. The 49ers host the Seahawks with divisional supremacy in the mix. If the Seahawks win, they will climb to a game back of the 49ers and have a huge road divisional win for tiebreaker purposes. If the 49ers win, they would take a three-game lead in the division with seven games remaining. That’s a lot of time for things to change, but it would be a fairly commanding lead at this juncture.
