It’s all about finding value when playing NFL slates on DraftKings, especially if it’s low-owned value. It’s also about not throwing a lot of salary into a player who underperforms. Each week, because of injury, personnel moves and that occasional hidden gem that no one sees coming, there are player with low salaries and even lower ownership that help break a slate wide open. Then there are those who are covered in red flags. Here are our picks for the best and worst value wide receivers on DraftKings entering Week 10:

Best values

Golden Tate, New York Giants vs. New York Jets ($5,900)

Tate managed to reach double-digit DraftKings points for the fourth week in a row on Monday night against Dallas and will draw a far more favorable opponent in Week 10 against the Jets. Preston Williams went off on Sunday in Miami and Tate should be able to match, if not exceed, that Williams’ effort.

Zach Pascal, Indianapolis Colts vs. Miami Dolphins ($5,300)

With T.Y. Hilton sidelined with a calf injury, Pascal emerged as the top target on Sunday, mostly from backup QB Brian Hoyer, who is a good bet to start for Jacoby Brissett again this weekend. Pascal led the team in targets (7), receptions (6) and yards (76), two weeks after exploding for a 7-106-2 line. His price has come up, but is still an absolute steal for a No. 1 receiver facing Miami. The only downside here is how popular he is likely to be.

Christian Kirk, Arizona Cardinals at Tampa Bay Buccaneers ($5,200)

Kirk was largely shut down in his second game back off a lengthy injury absence, managing just two receptions against the 49ers on Halloween night. But two weeks ago, in his first game back, Kirk went off for 8 catches on 11 targets. Now he gets to face a Buccaneers team that has allowed incredible amounts production to opposing wide receivers. Larry Fitzgerald has the name recognition here, but Kirk is the better receiver at this stage of their respective careers and is the player to target here.

Worst values

Mike Evans, Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Arizona Cardinals ($7,600)

This is by no means a knock on Evans, who has feasted the past three weeks and really exploded the past two, putting up 45 and 39 points, respectively. But those games were against defenses that were easily exploitable by perimeter receivers. This week, he draws Patrick Peterson. Now, granted, Peterson has not quite been his usual self since returning from a six-game suspension to start the year, but it stands to reason he will at least be able to keep Evans from the kind of outputs we’ve seen lately. At $7,600, it’s a gamble to go against a top corner.

Odell Beckham Jr., Cleveland Browns vs. Buffalo Bills ($6,100)

It has just been a brutal first half for the Browns, who have underwhelmed their way to a 2-6 record and have looked particularly inept doing it. For the past couple of weeks, Beckham has drawn the coverage of two of the league’s top corners – New England’s Stephon Gilmore and Denver’s Chris Harris – and now he gets a team defense in the Bills that have been among the stingiest against wide receivers. OBJ’s pricetag keeps coming down, but it’s not enough to make him worth playing this week.
