Hitting the Waiver Wire will be important this week with SIX teams on a bye. We break down the best fantasy football IDP options in Week 10.

There are six teams on a bye. If there was ever a week to hit the waiver wire, this is it. There will be a ton of players sitting on our collective benches this week with the Denver Broncos, New England Patriots, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington, Jacksonville Jaguars and Houston Texans all on a bye. Here are your priority adds for the Week 10 apocalypse.

Chris Jones, DE/DT, Kansas City Chiefs

Jones had missed the last three weeks with an injury and played decent in his first game back with two solo tackles, an assist and one sack. The matchup against the Vikings was favorable, they’ve given up the fourth most fantasy points to opposing defensive tackles, but Jones’ matchup this week is just as enticing facing the Titans who give up the second most fantasy points to the defensive tackle position. It was reassuring to see Jones record over 60% of the defensive snaps last week; this should either stay the same or increase on Sunday.

Notables: Jabaal Sheard, DE, Indianapolis Colts, Leonard Williams, DE, New York Giants, Tre Flowers, DE, Detroit Lions

Joe Walker, LB, Arizona Cardinals

It looks like Hasson Reddick’s playing time is going down at the expense of Walker’s playing time going up. Walker has now played on more than 50% of the team’s defensive snaps over the last two weeks and has totaled 14 combined tackles, while Reddick has only tallied an average of 45% snaps over the last two weeks. The Cardinals’ offense is still the fastest team in pace of play meaning more offensive plays for both them and their opponents. This week, the Cardinals get the Buccaneers who give up the ninth most fantasy points to the linebacker position.

Notables: Dre Greenlaw, San Francisco 49ers, Jerome Baker, Miami Dolphins

Morgan Burnett, S, Cleveland Browns

Jermaine Whitehead was cut after his postgame remarks on social media, which means eight-year veteran, Morgan Burnett, will be the starter moving forward. Even before Whitehead was cut, Burnett hit 100% of the defensive snaps last week against the Broncos and racked up four combined tackles. They get the Buffalo Bills this week who are 19th in fantasy points to given up to opposing secondaries, but it’s rare we get a starting player in IDP who should get all the snaps moving forward.
