The NFL has passed through the halfway point of the 2019 regular season, leaving us with eight more weeks of daily fantasy football action before the NFL playoffs get going. Take advantage while you still can!
This week will raise the degree of difficulty with the most byes of the season. We have six teams on bye, including the Denver Broncos, Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars, New England Patriots, Philadelphia Eagles, and Washington. The list of notable players on bye is long, so you’ll have to get a little more creative if you’re used to stacking DeShaun Watson and DeAndre Hopkins or Tom Brady and Julian Edelman.
We have not had quite as many big names getting knocked out with injuries, but there are still some names to keep an eye on as you consider your daily fantasy football lineups. Indianapolis Colts quarterback Jacoby Brissett sprained his MCL and is a question mark for Sunday against the Miami Dolphins. Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen aggravated his hamstring and seems unlikely to play against the Dallas Cowboys this Sunday. We can also remove Preston Williams and DeSean Jackson due to injuries and Mark Walton due to suspension.
The week will feature plenty more news, injury and otherwise, and we’ll be tracking it all here. Feel free to bookmark this story stream and return for the latest daily fantasy football news and analysis.
