Top DFS quarterback plays under $6,000 in Week 13

No defense says “get well” quite like the Buccaneers, and Nick Foles gets his chance for a big game this Sunday. We break down QB plays under $6,000.

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Nick Foles passes against the Tennessee Titans during the second half at Nissan Stadium.

Finding value is always the name of the game in NFL DFS. Players with salaries under $5,000, but with big roles in a given week, are gold in DFS, as you can spend up at other positions while still piling up substantial points. Here are some of the top quarterback plays under $6,000 on DraftKings in Week 12:

Nick Foles, Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers ($5,700)

Foles has been a bit hit-and-miss in his two games since returning from his collarbone injury, but everything says “hit” this week against the pass-funnel defense of the Buccaneers. Stout against the run, Tampa Bay ranks dead last in production allowed to opposing quarterbacks. This will be Foles first home game since returning and with D.J. Chark, Dede Westbrook and Chris Conley attack this secondary, Foles should put up a big number without much difficulty.

Ryan Tannehill, Tennessee Titans at Indianapolis Colts ($5,700)

Show the man some respect! Tannehill has been nothing short of sensational on weekly basis since taking over for Marcus Mariota, scoring at least 19 DK points in five straight games and lighting up Jacksonville for four touchdowns last week – two on the ground – en route to a 33.3-point effort. The Colts are a middle-of-the-pack defense right now, but Tannehill is on a heater and his price simply doesn’t reflect it.

Kyle Allen, Carolina Panthers vs. Washington ($5,500)

Perhaps Allen had hit the rookie wall the previous three weeks before last Sunday, throwing nine interceptions against three touchdowns. And maybe Allen finally broke through last week against the Saints, with three touchdowns and no picks. If so, then big things could be in store on Sunday.
