How to watch and what to watch in The Game between Ohio State vs. Michigan

Can the Wolverines end a long losing streak to the Buckeyes? We get you ready for The Game with a full breakdown here.

This will be the 116th meeting between the Ohio State Buckeyes and Michigan Wolverines in “The Game” on Saturday, Nov. 30 at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor.

The Buckeyes (2) enter this game still undefeated at 11-0 after escaping Penn State 28-17 last week. Ohio State is on track to make the College Football Playoff, set to take on either Minnesota or Wisconsin for the Big Ten title. A win over Michigan would almost certainly land the Buckeyes in the CFP for the third time since its inception back in 2014.

Game Time/TV Channel/Streaming

The Game at The Big House will kick-off at 12:00 p.m. ET on FOX on Saturday. It will also be available for streaming on fuboTV.

Point Spread, Totals, Odds, Trends

Spread: Ohio State (-9.5) at Michigan
Point Total: 50.5 O/U (-110)
Money line: Buckeyes (-400), Wolverines (+295)

— Michigan leads the all-time series 58-50-6 but hasn’t won The Game since 2011.

— Ohio State has dominated recently, winning seven straight games against the Wolverines, including 14 of the past 15 meetings.

— Despite losing, the Wolverines have covered the spread in three of the past five games against the Buckeyes.

Should we be worried about Justin Fields’ injury?

The simple answer is no. After an injury scare in Ohio State’s win over Penn State this past week, Fields is said to be fine and ready to go against Michigan. He landed awkwardly after being sacked late in the game against Penn State, with his foot sort of getting caught under the defender. In such a huge game, I don’t think it will hamper the Heisman frontrunner much. Fields is having a terrific sophomore season after transferring from Georgia, throwing for 2,352 yards with 33 TDs and just one INT in 11 games.

Pick against the spread

If this was a straight-up pick I think Ohio State is the easy choice. They’ve got by-and-far the more talented team and we’ve seen Jim Harbaugh’s Michigan teams choke in big spots throughout his tenure in Ann Arbor. Michigan was No. 4 last season heading into The Game against No. 10 OSU and got run off the field in a 62-39 rout.

But like I mentioned above, the Wolverines have covered the spread in three of the past five meetings, so getting 9.5 points at home stands out. Michigan also enters this game on a four-game winning streak and is 6-0 at home this season. It won’t be easy for Fields and OSU to come into The Big House and dominate Michigan like 2018. You could argue the Buckeyes got lucky against PSU considering their starting QB Sean Clifford left early in last week’s loss. Call me crazy, but I think this game stays close and Michigan maybe upsets the Buckeyes.

Pick: Michigan (+9.5)
