Dede Westbrook game status update
The Jaguars have announced that wide receiver Dede Westbrook is INACTIVE. He aggravated neck and shoulder issues last week and was limited in practice all week. The Jaguars promoted wide receiver Michael Walker off the practice squad to replace him. This injury opens the door for Chris Conley in a big way.
If you happen to be wondering about Dede Westbrook’s status for this week’s game, you may have to wait just a little longer. The Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver is officially listed as questionable, and it looks like a decision as to whether or not he will play is going to go right down to the wire.
One important thing to note here is that the Jaguars are in London, playing against the Houston Texans, and kickoff time for the game is at 9:30 a.m. ET. Don’t forget that as you weigh roster decisions this week.
Westbrook is dealing with a shoulder injury. He tried to play through it last week, but did not finish the game. He was able to practice this week, but in a limited role. It’s a dicey situation that you’ll have to stay on top of if Westbrook is in your fantasy plans at all this week.
Fantasy football analysis, Jacksonville Jaguars WR Dede Westbrook
If you get up really early or stay up really late, there might be some late-breaking news to help you make a decision. Of course, with the time change this weekend, you may want to enjoy that extra hour of sleep. If that’s the case, you might want to consider D.J. Chark or Chris Conley.
Chark caught six passes for 79 yards and a touchdown last week. Conley had an even better game, putting up 103 yards and a touchdown, and that came on top of an 83-yard performance the week before that.
