Spread picks for every NFL game in Week 9

The NFL kicked off Week 9 on Thursday with a fun NFC West matchup. The San Francisco 49ers jumped out big and looked like they might roll, but Kyler Murray made some big throws and Kenyan Drake lit up the 49ers defense before the Cardinals fell short in the end. The Cardinals lost 28-25, but covered the 10.5-point spread.

We are back for the main slate of Sunday and we’ve got some pretty huge matchups. We open with the Texans and Jaguars squaring off in London looking to hang close to the Colts in the AFC South. The 1:00 p.m. slate features the Chiefs and Vikings squaring off, and a Toilet Bowl between the Jets and Dolphins. The late slot is pretty weak, although Packers-Chargers has a chance to be an entertaining one.

It’s been a rough stretch the past month, but I managed a solid performance against the spread in Week 8. I went 9-5-1 last week and now sit at 57-62-2 on the season. We’ll see if I can build on it in Week 9 and move a little closer to .500.

I have a couple wagers in for the time being for Sunday, with more to come. I’m taking the points with the Bucs at the Seahawks and laying the points with the Panthers at home against the Titans. I’m pondering a bet on the Ravens, but am not quite ready to commit on it.
