Case Keenum’s not playing this week, so could Dwayne Haskins be a viable option for your lineup?

The pit of misery that is the Washington NFL team will has one more issue to deal with this week—Case Keenum is still in the league’s concussion protocol and will not start against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.

Keenum was injured in Washington’s Week 8 game against the Vikings. He managed to play the first two quarters, throwing for 130 yards, but that was it. Dwayne Haskins took over for the rest of the night. He threw one interception in five pass attempts.

Interim head coach Bill Callahan said Friday that the rookie Haskins would make the start this week.

Fantasy football analysis, Washington QB Case Keenum and Dwayne Haskins

This could be a really tough starting debut for Haskins. Buffalo’s defense is no joke, unlike Washington where EVERYTHING is completely laughable. He had a nice outing when he took over for Keenum against the Giants back in Week 4, but this is not a similar situation.

Could you start Haskins this week? Sure, you could do just about anything. It is a free country. But if you do opt to put Haskins in your lineup, in whatever format, you’ll only be doing your opponents a favor.
