The Kansas City Chiefs have ruled running back Damien Williams out for their Week 13 matchup with the Oakland Raiders. Williams is dealing with a rib injury from prior to the team’s Week 12 bye and did not practice at all this week.

Head coach Andy Reid would not commit to LeSean McCoy as the clear No. 1 running back, according to Arrowhead Pride’s Pete Sweeney. Reid said there would be several package in use.

Fantasy football analysis: Chiefs RBs LeSean McCoy, Darrel Williams

The big question now is how much of a role Darrel Williams will have behind McCoy. McCoy seems the likely starter, but his fumble issues are of concern. If you have both running backs, McCoy is the one you should start. If you have just McCoy, it will really depend on your alternatives. He’s not a bad start, but there’s enough uncertainty that he’s not a must start. If you have just Darrel Williams, he’s not worth starting without more details information — at least outside of the deepest of leagues.
