Matt Ryan having an atrocious game vs. Saints

Falcons QB Matt Ryan is having a disaster of a day.

The New Orleans Saints are thumping the Atlanta Falcons on Thanksgiving night and are just about set to lock up the NFC South with a win. They lead 23-9, and realistically they should probably be up even more.

The Saints offense has struggled to get much going with consistency, but instead has benefited from Matt Ryan’s meltdown. Ryan has thrown two interceptions, and has two fumbles with one lost in the fourth quarter. He has 188 yards and a touchdown pass, but this fumble was embarrassing.

Of course, that’s not even the most embarrassing play of the night for Ryan. Earlier in the game he threw an interception right into the hands of defensive tackle Shy Tuttle. Ryan decided it was a wise decision to try and tackle the 300-pound DT, but Tuttle was having none of that. He shoved Ryan to the ground with authority on the run back.

The Saints clinched the NFC South with the win and also mathematically eliminated the Falcons. Maybe it’s time to shut down Ryan for the year.
