Indianapolis Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton experienced a setback at practice on Wednesday and will not play in Week 13 against the Tennessee Titans, according to beat writer Zak Keefer. He described Hilton’s setback as “slight,” but also said the receiver is week-to-week moving forward.
Hilton suffered a calf injury in Week 8 and missed the next three games. He returned last week against Houston on Thursday Night Football, but was clearly slowed by the injury. Zach Pascal is the team’s No. 1 receiver in his absence, with Chester Rogers and Marcus Johnson getting work behind him. Parris Campbell could return this week from his broken hand, but is a question mark for the time being, according to Colts team media.
Fantasy football analysis: Colts WR T.Y. Hilton
The upside to this news is we know now before any football is played. If you have Thanksgiving day options, you can officially consider them ahead of Hilton. Pascal has some upside as a WR3/Flex option, but the rest of the Colts receivers are not worth playing for now.
Hilton’s status heading into fantasy football playoffs next week is concerning, so keep an eye out next Wednesday when the team’s first Week 14 injury report drops.
