In a bit of surprising news, the Detroit Lions have deactivated Damon Harrison for their Week 13 matchup with the Chicago Bears. Snacks was listed as questionable due to a knee injury, but was expected to play after three limited workouts this week.
His absence is a big deal if you have Bears running back David Montgomery on your fantasy football roster. The Lions have struggled in general against the run, giving up the second most fantasy points to running backs. Removing Harrison makes the situation that much worse. Montgomery is a strong play regardless, but remove Snacks and I’d argue he is a must start.
This also makes life at least a little bit easier for Mitchell Trubisky. He’s not a guy to start in fantasy football, but it potentially opens the door for him to find Allen Robinson, Tarik Cohen, and Anthony Miller, among others. The Bears team total bet is also intriguing in what could turn into a bit of a shootout with both defenses dealing with issues.
