The Chicago Bears released their final injury report for Thanksgiving, and the team has ruled out wide receiver Taylor Gabriel and tight end Ben Braunecker due to concussions. Both were hurt this past Sunday against the New York Giants and were unable to return to practice during the short week.
Fantasy football analysis: Bears WR Taylor Gabriel, TE Ben Braunecker
Gabriel: It’s been an up and down season for Gabriel, with his peak coming in Week 3 when he caught six passes for 75 yards and three touchdowns. He managed a touchdown in Week 10, and a season high 14 targets in Week 11, but has struggled to find consistency opposite Allen Robinson. In his absence, Anthony Miller will get the start. Miller has impressed over the past two weeks, with a combined 12 receptions on 20 targets for 131 yards.
Braunecker: He has struggled to get much going this season and has been entirely off the fantasy radar. Adam Shaheen and Trey Burton were valuable fantasy options before the season, but neither was able to emerge with kind of consistency. The Bears tight end position has been a black hole.
