The Philadelphia Eagles ground game could be shorthanded once again in Week 13. Head coach Doug Pederson told the media that running back Jordan Howard remains day-to-day with a shoulder injury, according to beat writer Jeff McLane. Pederson said Howard has not regained strength in his shoulder and will continue doing individual drills this week. He could return, but it will depend on how he looks at the end of the week.
Miles Sanders got the start in Week 12 and rushed 12 times for 63 yards and caught three passes for 23 yards. Jay Ajayi served as the second back, rushing six times for 16 yards.
Fantasy football analysis: Eagles RBs Jordan Howard, Miles Sanders
The Dolphins have given up the sixth most fantasy points to running backs this season. This is a choice matchup for the entire Eagles offense. If Howard sits, Sanders is a great start. If Howard plays, both are worth consideration, although they limit each other to a certain degree. Jay Ajayi is not worth starting in any fantasy football leagues.
