UPDATE 3:25 p.m.: Wentz is back from the locker room on the sideline warming up early in the fourth quarter. A big sigh of relief for Eagles fans.
The Philadelphia Eagles are trailing the Seattle Seahawks in the third quarter and now find themselves dealing with a potentially significant injury. Quarterback Carson Wentz is headed to the locker room after getting checked out in the medical tent. The team has not announced a status update for him, but beat writer Tim McManus tweeted this shortly before Wentz went to the medical tent.

At the time of the injury, Wentz had completed 18 of 27 passes for 100 yards and thrown one interception, while scrambling three times for 18 yards. It’s been a rough day against a resurgent Seahawks defense. Josh McCown is the backup who will replace him while he is getting examined in the locker room.
