Mohamed Sanu is inactive for Week 12

We break down the fantasy football implications of the Patriots playing without Mohamed Sanu.

The New England Patriots will be without wide receiver Mohamed Sanu in Week 12 due to a high ankle sprain. The team announced that he is a game-day inactive vs. the Dallas Cowboys.

Sanu was added to the injury report this week with what some are describing as a high ankle sprain. He sat out Wednesday and Thursday practices, but was limited on Friday and designated as questionable for Sunday.

Fantasy football analysis: Patriots WR Mohamed Sanu

There have been reports this could be a multi-week injury, so if Sanu is in your fantasy lineup, you’ll want to scour the waiver wire. With Dorsett also inactive, this opens the door for N’Keal Harry to move into the starting lineup. Jakobi Meyers will get slot work, but Harry has more upside. Neither is worth a start this week, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Harry worked his way into late season flex consideration if Sanu misses a couple games.

Tom Brady will be missing a key weapon, but still has Julian Edelman and James White in the passing game. This is a tough matchup for the Patriots passing game, but Edelman and White should still keep plenty busy for fantasy owners.
