The Detroit Lions added tight end T.J. Hockenson to their injury report on Saturday evening with a shoulder injury. Hockenson was not on the Week 12 injury report previously and is now listed as questionable for their 1:00 p.m. game against Washington.

It is unclear what happened, but this suggests a Friday or Saturday issue that leaves him a game-time decision. The team will provide their inactives by 11:30 a.m.

Fantasy football analysis: Lions TE TJ Hockenson

Hockenson set a rookie tight end record in his debut with six receptions for 131 yards and a touchdown. He had a touchdown three weeks later, but has otherwise been fairly quiet since. He hasn’t been a consistently quality starting option for a while, and Jeff Driskel replacing an injured Matthew Stafford only decreased his value.

If you are stuck with him, you’ll know his game status with enough time to find another option on the waiver wire.
