Top daily fantasy football TE plays under $4,000 in Week 12

Part of a two-headed tight end monster in Philadelphia, Dallas Goedert is a terrific value play against the Seahawks

Finding value is always the name of the game in NFL DFS. Players with salaries under $5,000, but with big roles in a given week, are gold in DFS, as you can spend up at other positions while still piling up substantial points. Here are some of the top tight end plays under $4,000 on DraftKings in Week 12.

Dallas Goedert, Philadelphia Eagles vs. Seattle Seahawks ($3,700)

He plays second-fiddle to Zack Ertz, but Goedert still makes pretty good music himself. Goedert has been in double-figure DraftKings points in 3 of his past 4 games, finding the end zone in those three contests. The Seahawks have been in the bottom quarter of the league against the tight end position, and with the injuries at wide receiver and running back, the Eagles will need to rely on its two-headed tight-end monster to keep up with Russell Wilson and Co.

Vance McDonald, Pittsburgh Steelers at Cincinnati Bengals ($3,500)

McDonald was already shaping up as a nice value option at tight end, having been targeted seven times in each of the past three games. Now his role for Week 12 looks to be locked down tightly with JuJu Smith-Schuster ruled out. While the game plan against the Bengals is generally to the run the ball all day, Mason Rudolph is still going to throw it, and he was a super-efficient 24-for-28 in Week 4. McDonald should have his way with this terrible linebacking corps.

Tyler Eifert, Bengals vs. Steelers ($3,100)

This is going to be an ugly game for the Bengals – aren’t they all? – but with A.J. Green and Auden Tate not expected to play, there should be more targets available for Eifert, especially with the Bengals likely playing from behind all afternoon. Eifert is a shell of his former self, but he’s been in double-digit DraftKings points in 2 of his past 3 games.
