Delanie Walker listed as doubtful for Week 12

The Titans will likely be without their starting tight end in Week 12. We break down the fantasy football implications for Jonnu Smith.

The Tennessee Titans released their final injury report on Friday, and tight end Delanie Walker is listed as doubtful, per team reporter Jim Wyatt. Walker was a limited participant in practice all week, but it appears was unable to get over the hump to play in Week 12 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Walker has not been ruled out, but doubtful means a 25 percent or less chance of playing on Sunday. In his likely absence, Jonnu Smith would get a fourth straight start. Smith led the team in targets in two of the three games he has started in place of Walker.

Fantasy football analysis: Titans TEs Jonnu Smith, Delanie Walker

Smith had a solid start to his recent starting run, but the last two games prior to the Titans Week 11 bye were substandard. In those games he caught a total of seven passes for 48 yards.

This week, Smith faces a Jaguars defense that has given up the 13th fewest fantasy points to the tight end position. He holds some PPR value, but not much standard value.
