UPDATE: Hilton is ACTIVE.
The Indianapolis Colts might have T.Y. Hilton back in the lineup as they kick off Week 12. Hilton has missed three straight weeks with a calf injury, but thinks he is ready to go for Thursday Night Football, according to NFL Network reporter James Palmer.
The Colts listed Hilton as a practice DNP on Monday and Tuesday and then a full participant on Friday. However, all three practices were walkthroughs, so the reports were estimates. Palmer is reporting the Colts have no issue with Hilton playing without having a normal practice session under his belt.
Fantasy football analysis: Colts WR T.Y. Hilton
The only concern with Hilton is a potential aggravation. Other than that, there is no reason to sit him on your fantasy football teams. And while aggravation of the injury is always possible, I don’t think you can operate your roster with that concern. When a player of Hilton’s caliber is active, you have to start him. He may not be 100 percent, but 75 percent of Hilton is better than most receivers.
The bigger question might be for people considering Zach Pascal in their lineups. He takes a hit with Hilton likely playing, but he’s still a solid start against the Texans. Houston has given up the sixth most fantasy points to wide receivers, and this one could get wild. Pascal is a solid flex option if Hilton plays and a WR2 if Hilton does not play.
