UPDATE: Hilton is ACTIVE.

UPDATE: Hilton thinks he is good to go for Thursday Night Football, according to James Palmer. Inactives are posted at approximately 6:50 p.m., at which point we’ll know for sure if he is going to play against the Texans. If Hilton is active, he is a must start in Week 12 against a shaky Texans secondary.

The Indianapolis Colts didn’t have an actual practice on Wednesday but did have a walkthrough. The injury report listed T.Y. Hilton as a full participant as he works to return this week to face the Texans on Thursday Night Football. The team issued their final injury report after the practice and announced Hilton is questionable for Week 12.

Franch Reich said that Hilton’s calf injury is generally a 3-4 week injury after he suffered it in Week 8. Week 12 would be within that time frame for a return, but we have yet to see him participate in a practice.

Hilton doesn’t need to practice to play, and his designation as a full participant on Wednesday is a good sign for his availability. Hilton has dog-walked Texans’ cornerbacks for years now. In Week 7, he caught six passes for 74 yards and a touchdown against them, and he seems to always get up for this matchup.

If Hilton can go, we can’t be confident that he won’t have a setback, but there’s no way you don’t start him in a good matchup like this one. If he can’t go, Zach Pascal gets a bump against the team he caught two touchdowns against the last time they met.
