UPDATE
Odell Beckham Jr. is set up for a big game but Jarvis Landry is as well and he has been the safer play this season. I’ve moved him up from my initial rankings.
N’Keal Harry and Jakobi Meyers get a bump with Mohamed Sanu and Phillip Dorsett likely out.
Alshon Jeffery will be the only wide receiver Carson Wentz can really count on this week, so he gets a boost in a game that could be high scoring.
D.J. Moore’s target load has been great of late and it looks like he won’t face Marcus Lattimore this week. He should be very safe in PPR and gets a bump.
Have you ever thought to yourself, self, I wish I had a list of wide receivers that rank their probability of producing fantasy football points in Week 12 of the NFL season? No? Okay, well, hopefully, one of you said yes, because that is what I’m doing just below here.
Bye Weeks
Arizona Cardinals, Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers, Minnesota Vikings
WRs on bye: Christian Kirk, Larry Fitzgerald, Tyreek Hill, Sammy Watkins, Keena Allen, Mike Williams, Stefon Diggs, Adam Thielen
Injury/Status Report
Brandin Cooks is expected to return this week for the Rams as long as he doesn’t suffer any setbacks in practice.
Amari Cooper is “still fighting through” his knee injury, according to the Dallas Morning News. His snaps were lowered last week against the Lions, but when on the field, he’s still getting plenty of targets.
Sterling Shepard was a full participant in practice on Monday. He appears to be close to a return.
T.Y. Hilton is making progress according to his coach, but we’ll need to see him back on the practice field before getting excited about a return.
Will Fuller got limited practices last week but didn’t suit up. He’s getting closer to a return.
Auden Tate is in the concussion protocol and also suffered a cervical strain. His status appears iffy for Pittsburgh this week.
JuJu Smith-Schuster suffered a concussion and a knee injury against the Browns.
Diontae Johnson also will be in the concussion protocol. If neither Smith-Schuster or Johnson can play, James Washington and Johnny Holton will likely get the start against the Bengals.
WR Ranking Tiers
Tier 1
In PPR, it’s nearly impossible to rank anyone ahead of Michael Thomas. DeAndre Hopkins should get back on track this week, especially in PPR. Davante Adams has 14 receptions on 21 targets since returning from his toe injury. He’s yet to find the end zone, but his PPR floor remains high, even against the 49ers.
Tier 2
Cooper Kupp has taken a dive of late due to Jared Goff’s inability, but getting Brandin Cooks and Robert Woods back will likely help him against a tough Ravens secondary.
Jarvis Landry has scored in three straight games and gets a strong matchup against the Dolphins. He’s become a safe play of late, and his matchup makes him even safer.
D.J. Moore has been a target hog of late with 36 targets over the last three games, which he’s turned into 24 receptions for 316 yards. If he had a better matchup, he’d probably be in Tier 1.
WR Streamers
Demaryius Thomas has been a borderline PPR start for a while, and at home against the Raiders feels like a spot for him to get you useful fantasy points.
On the other side of the field, Hunter Renfrow has played well enough to give you WR3 numbers in a great matchup with the Jets’ weak defense.
