We break down the fantasy football implications of a lengthy Steelers injury report heading into Week 12.

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster is a serious question mark for Week 12 due to multiple injuries. Smith-Schuster suffered a concussion on Thursday Night Football against the Cleveland Browns, but also suffered a knee injury, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. His status is uncertain for the team’s matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals.

Smith-Schuster took what appeared to be multiple helmet-to-helmet hits on Thursday and left the game. The injury report is a new addition, and could be the bigger issue if the Steelers wide receiver is able to clear the concussion protocol in the meantime.

The Steelers will issue their first formal practice participation report on Wednesday.

Fantasy football analysis, Steelers WRs JuJu Smith-Schuster, Diontae Johnson

The Steelers were particularly banged up after that Thursday game, and could be short-handed vs. the Bengals. It’s a winnable game given how bad Cincinnati has been, but Mason Rudolph won’t have it easy if Smith-Schuster does not play.

Diontae Johnson also suffered a concussion and will work his way through the concussion protocol. If both receivers are unable to go, James Washington would be the No. 1 receiver, followed by Johnny Holton and Tevin Jones. It’s safe to say they would look to sign one or two receivers to boost their depth.
