Sam Darnold seeing receivers, not ghosts in first half vs. Washington

The Jets QB shook off some demons to help New York get the win with four TD passes. We recap his fantasy football production in Week 11.

UPDATE: Well this one is in the books as the Jets improve to 3-7 behind an impressive performance from their starting QB. Sam Darnold finished with 293 passing yards, going 19-of-30 for four TDs and one pick. Darnold finishes with 26.42 fantasy points, an excellent DFS value play on DraftKings. Ryan Griffin finished with five catches for 109 yards and a TD, 24.9 FPTS. Plus, Jamison Crowder got some revenge vs. his former team, going for five receptions, 76 yards and a TD, good for 18.6 FPTS. Overall, New York’s stack was incredibly affordable and was likely featured in a handful of strong GPP lineups for the main slate.

UPDATE: I know Washington is bad but this is getting out of hand. Sam Darnold is up to 253 yards passing and now has 4 TDs after finding Jamison Crowder in the end zone early in the fourth quarter. Ryan Griffin is up over 100 yards now and Crowder is having a solid outing with six catches for 67 yards and the TD. Darnold is closing in on the 300+ yard bonus is it doesn’t appear the Jets will take the pedal off the metal today. Darnold is fourth among QBs in scoring at 25.12 fantasy points.

I know Spooky season is over and we shouldn’t be seeing anymore ghosts, but part of me figured it would be extended for New York Jets QB Sam Darnold. That isn’t the case, mostly because of a matchup vs. Washington. In the first half of Week 11, Darnold has 192 yards through the air with three TDs and one INT. That’s good for 18.68 fantasy points in the early going, coming in at 1.2% ownership in some contests on DraftKings.

At $5,700 Darnold is closet to hitting 4x value already and has a whole half to operate. Jets WR Robby Anderson ($4,900) has had a quiet day so far, but TE Ryan Griffin ($2,900) has been the top value on the slate. He’s leading TEs in scoring right now with 16.7 fantasy points on three receptions for 77 yards and a TD. Jamison Crowder ($5,700) has three catches for 38 yards.
