In the midst of a breakout season, Los Angeles Rams tight end Gerald Everett will play on Sunday Night Football vs. the Chicago Bears. Everett has been dealing with a wrist injury which limited him in practice this week. Rams coach Sean McVay did confirm during the week he expected Everett to suit up. It’s also worth noting fellow TE Tyler Higbee (knee) seems less likely to play.

Fantasy Football Analysis: Los Angeles Rams tight ends

Higbee has been widely a non-factor for most of the season while Everett has thrived, catching 34-of-56 targets for 365 yards and two TDs through nine games. If Higbee is out, Everett should see the majority of the snaps at tight end against Chicago, which isn’t nearly the same defense we’re accustomed to seeing. The Bears are middle of the pack in terms of receiving yards allowed per game (253.2). But on the flip side, the Rams offense has really struggled lately.

If this game were in Chicago, I’d say fade most of LA’s skill guys not named Cooper Kupp. Everett isn’t a bad play in deeper season-long formats, but he isn’t ideal. If you have nothing else, you’re fine playing Everett. He’s $4,400 on DraftKings for the Primetime slate, if you’re playing that. I think most of the ownership there will go to Travis Kelce and Hunter Henry at TE, so Everett isn’t a bad Primetime GPP play. Everett is -112 on DraftKings Sportsbook to go OVER 33.5 receiving yards, which isn’t a terrible bet if he gets the targets; he’s gone over that number in four of the past six games.
