The Indianapolis Colts will be without wide receiver T.Y. Hilton in their huge Week 11 divisional showdown with the Jacksonville Jaguars. The receiver was ruled out on Friday and is officially an inactive for the game. His status for Week 12 is uncertain considering he did not practice at all this past week.
The players who benefit most from this injury are wide receiver Zach Pascal, tight ends Jack Doyle and Eric Ebron, and running back Nyheim Hines. Pascal will be joined by Chester Rogers, but he’s the guy who will be targeted most among the receivers. Pascal only had two receptions last week, but he was targeted seven times.
Meanwhile, Ebron led the team with 12 targets and Hines had seven of his own. Doyle and Rogers had four apiece. It would not be surprising to see the target totals vary week-to-week. Add in Jacoby Brissett returning to the starting role, and it will be something to watch for assessing future options.
