The Baltimore Ravens host the Houston Texans in a massive Week 11 AFC contest. Lamar Jackson vs. DeShaun Watson is the highlight, but there are huge playoff implications with these two teams battling for a first round bye behind the New England Patriots.
Jackson has a banged-up wide receiver corps, with rookie standout Marquise Brown questionable for Sunday. He has been dealing with an ankle injury since Week 5, and although he has played each of the past two weeks, he has not been 100 percent. Brown was a limited participant in Wednesday’s practice, then downgraded to DNP on Thursday, but upgraded to limited on Friday. He’ll be a game-day decision, with the Ravens kicking off in the early time slot at 1:00 p.m.
Fantasy football analysis: Ravens WR Marquise Brown
Brown was productive in Week 10, catching all four of his targets for 80 yards and a touchdown. It was his best outing since catching eight passes for 86 yards in Week 2. It’s worth noting Brown only ran nine routes last Sunday, which was sixth on the team, per ESPN. The ankle is problematic, and while he can turn limited work into big production, it’s something to keep in mind.
The Texans have given up the third most fantasy points to wide receivers this season. If Brown is active, he’s worth starting in most leagues. The matchup is ideal, and while the ankle is a concern, the upside is there.
