The NFL has an atrocious Bears-Rams game on Sunday Night Football, which means some chunk of the country will miss out on the real nation game of the week. The Baltimore Ravens host the Houston Texans in a matchup of potential MVP candidates and one with sizable playoff implications.
Lamar Jackson has guided the Ravens to a 7-2 record. He and Russell Wilson are considered the top two MVP candidates. His Ravens lead the AFC North by two games, trail the Patriots by one game for the best record in the AFC, and lead the Texans by one game for the second first round bye.
DeShaun Watson and Aaron Rodgers are in the next tier of MVP candidates behind Jackson and Wilson. He’s been critical to the Texans success. They’ve won four of five, including a road win over the Chiefs. The Texans have a one-game lead over the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC South, and hold a half game lead over the Chiefs for the third best record in the AFC.
DraftKings Sportsbook offers a variety of team futures for potential playoff teams. Here are a few specific to the Texans and Ravens coming into Sunday’s matchup.
