Best fantasy football quarterback plays over $6,000 in Week 11

Lamar Jackson remains both the highest-priced QB on DraftKings and the most likely to lead all QBs in scoring

In NFL DFS, if you’re going to spend up, you must be sure you’ll be getting bang for your buck. For example, a player worth $6,000 who scores 24 points has quadrupled, or 4Xed, their salary, which can send you zooming up the standings. Those are the guys we want throughout the lineup. Here are our best quarterback plays with salaries over $6,000 for Week 11 at DraftKings.

Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens vs. Houston Texans ($7,700)

We keep trying to poke holes in Jackson’s game — and we’ll point out that Houston has been terrific against the run and Hollywood Brown is questionable for Sunday — but, really, Jackson is going to find a way to overcome it and put up another monster total. The beat-up Texans secondary has been toasted and roasted all year, and it’s worth noting that Jackson has not scored less than 26 DK points at home in four games thus far. In nine games overall, Jackson has been below 26 points TWICE. At $7,700 he actually feels underpriced.

Drew Brees, New Orleans Saints at Tampa Bay Buccaneers ($6,900)

Well, that was certainly an unwelcome surprise last week. Brees at home without throwing a touchdown pass and not reaching 300 yards? Crazy. But the consolation prize is that his freshly laid egg will probably depress his ownership, and as good as last week’s matchup looked on paper, this week’s is actually better. The Bucs are the funnel-est of all funnel defenses, allowing the most passing production while shutting down the running game. Daring Brees to throw is never a great idea, and the Saints have much to prove after last week’s dumpster fire. It’s not a home game, but for Brees, it’s a home run game.

Jameis Winston, Buccaneers vs. Saints ($6,500)

There are a lot of great options in the over-$6K range this week. But if we’re looking to save a couple hundred in salary for something else, I love pivoting down to the other half of this potential shootout. Yes, he’s a mind-numbing turnover machine, but he’s also thrown for over 300 yards in six of his past seven games. He’s thrown for multiple touchdowns in four of those seven games. He’s scored over 20 DK points in six of seven. He’s producing for fantasy and again, this game has shootout written all over it. Oh, and by the way, no Marshon Lattimore this week. Boom.
