Top NBA DFS value options to consider on DraftKings for Nov. 15

Tyson Chandler looks like the play on paper, but what other Rockets forward might return value? We break down the top bargain options for tonight’s eight-game slate on DraftKings.

Editor’s Note: Andrew Wiggins (personal) will not play tonight vs. the Wizards, per Chris Hine of the Star Tribune.

There aren’t many injuries were waiting for, so value options are clear-cut for tonight’s eight-game slate on DraftKings. The only real news we got was Clint Capela (concussion) being ruled out, so that’ll open up a few good spots on Houston’s roster tonight vs. the Pacers. Without wasting anymore time, let’s get into my top value picks under $5K at each position.

Point Guard

Rajon Rondo, LAL vs. SAC, $4,900Rondo didn’t play much in his season debut for the Lakers, but had a very Rondo-esque stat line: five points, six rebounds and seven assists in 14 minutes and change. That equated 23.5 DraftKings fantasy points. If the Lakers dominate the Kings tonight, we could see garbage time Rondo. Note: Avery Bradley (leg) is out tonight.

Cory Joseph, SAC at LAL, $4,600 Joseph continues to start for the injured De’Aaron Fox and his price remains affordable. Last game against the Blazers, Joseph logged nearly 38 minutes, and has played at least 28 in each game without Fox. Joseph’s price is up nearly $1,000 since last game, which is a good trend to look for.

Shooting Guard

Joe Ingles, UTA at MEM, $4,300 — I refuse to give up on Jingling Joe Ingles. He’s still averaging around 30 minutes per game but his salary continues to drop. Sure, his ceiling isn’t high, but he has at least 22.5 DKFP in three of five games. The Grizz should up the pace a bit and force the Jazz to take more shots.

Ben McLemore, HOU vs. IND, $3,800 — I’m going to write up a lot of Rockets players just to cover myself. But really, there will be a lot of value on Houston with so many injuries. McLemore started last game and played 22 minutes, scoring eight points with five boards for 18.25 DKFP, which was good for 6x value.

Small Forward

Eric Paschall, GSW vs. BOS, $4,900 — Paschall has been dealing with a hip injury but is back to playing big minutes with all the injuries the Dubs are dealing with. He should see around 30 minutes tonight and his price has dropped from $6,600 before the injury down to below $5K. He’s a decent GPP play given the type of ceiling he has; 34 points, 13 rebounds on Nov. 4 vs. the Trail Blazers.

Robert Covington, MIN vs. WAS, $4,800 — I like the price point a lot for Big Shot Bob given the matchup vs. the Wizards. The T-Wolves have scored at least 120 points in four of their past five games, plus dropped 131 on Washington a few weeks back. Covington had a season-high 20 points to go with 32 DKFP in that contest, so let’s run it back.

Power Forward

P.J. Tucker, HOU vs. IND, $4,500 — If nothing else, Tucker could play around 40 minutes tonight vs. the Pacers. That’s how thin the Rockets’ rotation is right now. We could see Tucker shift and even play time at center. That alone makes him appealing even though the matchup is tough.

Daniel Theis, BOS at GSW, $4,200 — If Theis is able to return from a finger injury, I like his spot here vs. the Warriors. The Celtics front court is thin with Enes Kanter and a bunch of youngsters. Theis would be in line for big minutes in a strong matchup. Rebounds increase Theis’ floor, which is great for value plays.

Steven Adams, OKC vs. PHI, $4,900 Adams will have his hands full with Joel Embiid and Al Horford down low, and that’s likely why his price is this low. It also could be the fact he’s been dealing with injury and hasn’t been great this season, but this is also his lowest price point all year. Again, rebounds are key and we’re not asking for much out of Adams.

Tyson Chandler, HOU vs. IND, $4,000 — Like Tucker, Chandler is going to be forced to play a ton of minutes at center with Clint Capela out. At $4K, he really only needs to break 20 DKFP to return value, which shouldn’t be hard. He played 16 minutes vs. the Clippers on Wednesday and had nine boards with five points for 20.25 DKFP.
