The Seattle Seahawks lost wide receiver Tyler Lockett to a leg injury in Week 11 Monday Night Football, but with the bye week coming up, the team does not expect him to miss any games. Head coach Pete Carroll told the media on Tuesday that the plan was for Lockett to spend one more night at Stanford Hospital due to his leg bruise, per beat writer Brady Henderson.
Lockett had three receptions for 26 yards in the team’s overtime win over the San Francisco 49ers, but did not play in overtime. Malik Turner replaced him in the lineup.
Fantasy football analysis: Seahawks WR Tyler Lockett, Malik Turner, Josh Gordon
Turner would have some modest fantasy value if Lockett were to miss any time. If Lockett is back next week, Turner is not someone to roster. The bigger question is whether or not Josh Gordon sees more work after the bye. He played in 28 of 74 offensive snaps, and had two receptions for 27 yards. They were both big third down conversions, so we’ll see if he builds on his rapport with Russell Wilson heading into Week 12.
