Opening point spreads for November 12 NBA schedule

The NBA picks up action on Tuesday, November 12th with an eight-game slate. Cavaliers-76ers and Trail Blazers-Kings will be on NBA TV, but otherwise it’s a relatively quiet evening of basketball viewing.

We’ve got a full rundown of the point spreads for all eight games, courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook. The biggest point spread of the evening has the Nuggets as a 12-point home favorite against the Hawks. The Nuggets are 7-2 and have won four straight, while the Hawks are 3-6 and have lost three straight.

The big game of the evening features the Suns hosting the Lakers. LA tops the Western Conference with a 7-2 record, while Phoenix is sixth with a 6-3 record. The Lakers are coming off a 113-104 loss to the Raptors, snapping a seven-game win streak. The Suns beat the Nets 138-112 and have won four of their last five. The Lakers are 4.5-point road favorites in this game.

Of note tonight, the Pistons and Jazz are playing the second half of back-to-back games. The Pistons lost to the Timberwolves 120-114 in Blake Griffin’s return from injury. Griffin had 19 points, seven rebounds, and six assists in the loss. The Jazz beat the Warriors Monday evening 122-108 and had three players score over 20 points — Rudy Gobert (25), Mike Conley (22), and Donovan Mitchell (23).
