If you’re a DFS player, you know that a successful lineup has to have a solid combination of big-name star power players that are known commodities with a few high-upside players that provide a little more bang for your buck.

If you pay up for a big name in your daily fantasy lineup, you definitely cannot afford for that player to put up a dud of a game in your lineup.

So here are the quarterbacks that will likely provide some of the best and worst value for Week 11 (Values from DraftKings).

BEST: Dak Prescott (DAL) - $6,700

While the Dallas Cowboys were unable to eke out a win against the Minnesota Vikings last week, Prescott still had an excellent game, throwing for 397 yards and 3 touchdowns to only one interception. That was against the 11th-best pass defense in the NFL. This week, things should get even easier for Prescott and the Cowboys passing attack as they are set to face off against the Detroit Lions and the NFL’s third-worst passing defense.

WORST: Kirk Cousins (MIN) - $6,300

On the flip side of the Cowboys game last week, Kirk Cousins had an efficient day, throwing for 220 yards and two touchdowns. This week, the Vikings are hosting the Denver Broncos and the league’s second-best defense against opposing quarterbacks, and there are still questions about whether Cousins’s #1 target in Adam Thielen will be ready for the game. Look for the Vikings to lean on Dalvin Cook and the rushing attack against the Broncos, meaning Cousins and the passing game will take more a complimentary role on Sunday.

BEST: Drew Brees (NO) - $6,900

Don’t let last week’s clunker full you: Drew Brees is still an elite quarterback, even in 2019. If anything, take advantage of Drew’s poor performance last week (287 yards but no touchdowns) causing his daily fantasy price to drop this week. You can add Brees to your DFS lineup for $800 less than Lamar Jackson, and Brees will be playing against Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who boast the NFL’s worst secondary. This is the same Bucs team that Teddy Bridgewater torched to the tune of 314 passing yards and four touchdowns, so Brees should find similar success, even on the road.

WORST: Kyler Murray (ARI) - $6,100

Murray is coming off one of the best performances of his career, throwing for 324 yards and finishing the game with a career-high three touchdowns. However, that’s more of a testament to the defense he was playing (the aforementioned Tampa Bay Buccaneers) rather than strictly Murray’s ability at this young stage of his career. The bad news for Murray and Arizona Cardinals’ fans everywhere this week, though, is that the Cardinals are moving from the NFL’s worst passing defenses to one of the NFL’s best this week in the San Francisco 49ers. Two weeks ago, Murray threw for 241 and two touchdowns against the 9ers, but that was at home and now San Francisco will be more familiar with their opponent. Don’t bank on Murray even matching his totals from two weeks ago, let alone his career best numbers from last week.
