The Pittsburgh Steelers are expecting a key reinforcement in Week 11 when they travel to face the Cleveland Browns on Thursday Night Football. Running back James Conner is expected to be available for the game after missing two games with a shoulder separation, according to beat writer Gerry Dulac.
Conner injured his shoulder in garbage time against the Miami Dolphins in Week 8. Backup Benny Snell also got hurt leaving the team with Jaylen Samuels and Trey Edmonds. Samuels led the team with 14 rushes in Week 10, while Edmunds led with 12 in Week 9.
Fantasy football analysis: RB James Conner
Samuels retains some PPR value, but if Conner is back, he’s the go-to guy in this backfield. The Browns have given up the ninth most fantasy points, and even against quality opposition, Conner is a guy you regularly start. The next three weeks offer huge matchups at Cleveland, at Cincinnati, and at home against Cleveland. In this final run to the start of fantasy playoffs, Conner’s return is huge.
