Cooper Kupp shut out in Rams Week 10 loss

We’re not quite sure what happened with Cooper Kupp in Week 10.

The Los Angeles Rams lost a tough one to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 10 by a final score of 17-12, and some of the offensive decision-making played a part. Wide receiver Cooper Kupp was a notable aspect of this. He was targeted four times total and had zero catches on the day. It marked the first time in his career he was held without a catch in a game.

There were plenty of targets to go around in the game, but just not much for Kupp. Jared Goff targeted tight end Gerald Everett 12 times and Robert Woods 11 times. They combined for 15 catches for 163 yards. Even Josh Reynolds managed five targets on the day.

Goff struggled to get much going, finishing the game with two interceptions and no touchdowns and also losing a fumble. Mason Rudolph was the more impressive of the two, throwing for 242 yards and a touchdown .

It’s hard to tell what happened with Kupp, and fantasy owners will just be left shaking their heads. Kupp has been Goff’s go-to guy, and this is likely just an aberration of a performance.
