Austin Hooper goes to locker room, did not return with knee injury [UPDATE]

We break down the implications of the late game injury for star tight end Austin Hooper in Week 10.

UPDATE #3: Hooper did not return from his injury and will be evaluated moving forward heading into Week 11.

UPDATE #2: Hooper has been announced as questionable to return with a knee injury.

UPDATE: Hooper has gone back to the locker room. His status is still TBD.

The Atlanta Falcons are on the verge of a huge upset of the New Orleans Saints, but they’ve suffered a key injury. Tight end Austin Hooper limped off the field in the fourth quarter and checked in at the medical tent. He appeared to injure his lower leg but his status is unclear for the moment.

Hooper had four receptions for 17 yards and a touchdown at the time of the injury. Luke Stocker and Jaeden Graham are backups on the roster.
