This has already been something of a disappointing season for Tennessee Titans wide receiver Corey Davis. The latest blow to his third year in the league is the news this week that he is officially listed as doubtful to play when they host the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday afternoon.
A first-round pick just two years ago, his numbers have been underwhelming all year. He had just 57 total yards in his last two games, catching six passes in that same time frame. Expectations were high for Davis and the Titans offense after his sophomore effort saw him nearly break 900 yards, including two games of triple-digit production. His best outing this year was a 91-yard, one touchdown effort against the hapless Falcons back in Week 4.
Fantasy football analysis, Tennessee Titans WR Corey Davis
The silver lining here is that without Davis, we should see a lot more from rookie receiver A.J. Brown. He had 81 yards on four catches last week against the Panthers. And the Titans are apt to be throwing the ball plenty considering they face the Chiefs this week. Brown is just $4,300 in DK leagues this week, a great pickup for any lineup.
